This is the pub that we end at when all the other pubs close. It has that seedy end of the night vibe but a good place to hang out. I have heard they get good bands there but we always end up there late.

Great atmosphere, awesome music and amazing design. The staff were friendly and always smiling and helpful with a great attitude. Food in the upstairs bistro great.

I really rate the food here over the past 2 years, the current chefs are great.

Most recent experience: Ordered directly from the chef, and he was very helpful about the cut of meat and the way I wanted my steak cooked. The resulting steak was perfectly cooked, had a lovely flavour, and the accompanying home-cut fries were delicious. He then came out after we finished eating to check that the steak was okay.

Prices are standard pub prices. As for the ambience, well, it's the Townie! You either love it or don't. It's in the upstairs part of the pub.
