We had a burst pipe in a wall, Townsend was assigned the job through our insurance company. They did not treat for mold or have it tested. they installed new kitchen and flooring over a wet slab, they cut another pipe while installing, didn't care, didn't mop up water. fast forward a couple weeks, mold issues, Townsend didn't care... Rang insurance company, had testing done and results were off the chart, all work plus some removed and redone. I would not recommend and would say to avoid at all costs!!!!

My house flooded just after purchasing it
I lodged an insurance claim and Townsend Builders came to do my repairs
They sealed up a mouldy leaking bathroom and when i was horrified The Supervisor said to me "Shell be right mate"
It definately wasnt right
Everything was rotten
The Architraves were replaced and the wood has rotted after 3 months
They sealed up around the new skirting boards and its all filthy dirty as it wasnt prepped and cleaned at all
I am not having Townsend Builders fix my 2 bathrooms that need replacing that an Engineer has deemed through Allianz
Also one of there Carpenters best mates told me not to let them do my bathroom renovations because they take half of the Insurance money allotted for the job and do it real cheap and pocket the rest of the money for themselves and judging by the work completed in my home

I've dealt with these builders through my work, and based on that decided to get them in to paint my new apartment.

Their professionalism is second to none. They always get back to you ASAP if you try to contact them (phone call or email), they are very friendly and also efficient, and the actual quality of the paint job was good.

I would never hesitate to use this firm for any of your tradesmen/building/plumbing or painting needs.
