we are so glad we switched to TPG for internet and mobile. they have the best and fairest deals on the market. there is no lock in contract, the bills are all online and easy to read plus you get notified by email or sms when you are reaching capacity. i have looked at other deals and there is always a catch. not so with TPG. No frills but no overheads to add to your bill.

TPG has been a great service. They have provided me with Internet and mobile phone coverage for over a year and they have been fantastic, not to mention the price and there is no lock in contract. The connection is very fast and there is always service. Customer service is very friendly and there is never a long wait on ther phone to speak to an operator. Great job

We've had TPG at two different rentals and both times it's been disappointing. The first time was miserable. Despite having a large plan, our ADSL2 connection kept slowing down to a dialup crawl. This wasn't due to using up our quota though - at those speeds we couldn't use half of it if we tried. (It's not like we were living out in the barely-connected boondocks either, this was in Annerley) Whenever we called tech support, they'd get it running fast for about 15 minutes, but then it would slow right back down again.

When we moved, we tried our best to talk our new housemates out of going with TPG, but the low prices seduced them. This time it's at least much faster than our last place, but the speed is still low for what we'd expect from ADSL2. Amusingly, this month we finally came close to using up the monthly quota by downloading lots of big stuff in the last couple days. TPG emailed us a throttle warning to tell us we only had so much left to use up until the renewal on the 11th... except the email was dated the 16th! Um, wow, thanks for that reminder TPG. They can't even handle a calendar properly!

We needed to find an internet connection which was reliable, fast and cost effective. We did a lot of research with a lot of different companies. We were looking for a connection which did not require a phone line as we did not want to connect a home phone. We decided to Connected Naked ADSL with TPG.
