I love this store. In fact it's a bit like Aladdin' s cave. Once I'm in, I forget that I've got a home to go to, and what I actually went there for. I drag my sister along there too. Thank you!!! Btw, I hadn't read the other review that said: Aladdins cave. Hahaha!

They have such great value, quick service, and an awesome array of product to choose from.

I've been a customer of trad's Liquidation for a long, long time (30+ years) and I keep going back. They have the most amazing array of stock - from hardware to lace, and everything in between. Everything is at bargain base prices and I've learnt not to shop around - just go there first!!!!

Someone else used the words 'hidden gem' to describe Trads, and I've got to agree. It doesn't look like much of a store but it's a real Aladdin's cave inside. You aren't guaranteed anything so if you want something in particular, best to go a specialty store. But if you want 'cheap', this is the place. I use it for a lot of sewing needs - random materials at great prices, and elastics and accessories for prices which really can't be beat. It's pot luck what they have in stock but a trip there is never a waste. It's more than sewing needs but to be honest that's all I've ever looked at. Service is friendly and the value can't be beat. You're not compromising on quality either - these are just goods which have been liquidated from other businesses. Wins all around!

In one word Fabulous and I wish this place was more of a secret because it has beautiful fabric at such good prices and I would rather not have to share! You won't be disappointed if your after anything sewing related, it has an excellent range. It has lots of other items such as furniture, tools etc and my husband also loves this store for that reason.

Trads liquidation is a treasure trove for every sewist. Whilst you won't find the range of fabrics and sewing accessories available at Spotlight or Lindcraft, the bargains are phenomenal. There's always a great selection of fabric for $2.50, $3.00, $3.50 and $4.00 per metre. They have an extensive range of thread at unbeatable prices. 1000 metre spools of Beutron thread sell for $1.00 each in a multiplicity of colours. Beutron overlooker spools, again in innumerable colours, start from as low as $2.00 for 5000 metres. You can't match this value anywhere, even if you buy from overseas via eBay. Also sold are other essential sewing items such as zippers at the bargain price of $0.75c for a 35cm one.

So good is the shop that I regularly travel from Russell Island to Trads, by-passing both a Spotlight and a Lindcraft store. Trads is a small local business that you won't be disappointed by.

I always enjoy looking through this store. There's one end of tools and homewares then another end full of VERY reasonably priced fabric and craft supplies. They also sell excellent tea towels- they're massive and thick for only a few dollars.

This hidden gem is the place to go if you are renovating your home and looking for furnishing fabrics at a great price. You have to hunt through the range but can find some great bargains at $4-5 / metre. I have also picked up ready made curtains, dress fabrics, new deadlocks, cupboard handles and a range of other useful items.
