I have been going to Tramcars Bakery for over 10 years now and have always loved the food and service. They are open early which is nice if you don't want maccas for fantastic coffee and the recent refurb looks amazing!!
We started going here when they opened up the new Centro Shopping Centre. They have 1 staff member who really made our 1st visit so much that we keep on going back. I really do think that they need to be rewarded for their excellent service and great coffee. I wouldn't rate the service in their Main Bakery and Cafe as high, but the food is still good. They serve up pies and they also have mushy peas to go with it if you ask for it. Their cake range is also quite good. Also if you go in don't forget to ask for their reward cards that they do. I think it is some where around your 8th or 10th coffee you get the next one free.
yep, I have to agree. Tramcar pies are very nice. I love the potato pie and the steak and mushroom... and the cakes..yummo :)
I think they have now changed owners, the bakery items are the worst i've ever tried. Previously I would have rated them a 7/10. Now they would be lucky to be rated 2/10.
When I was the only customer in the store at 10am it should have rung alarm bells.
