Does anyone know how we can get in contact with the old owners to find out if we can take the metal from the building
Approximate cost: $01
Used to be my favourite nursery but went there today and there was barely any plants there and what was there was half dead. Very disappointed.
This is a perfect store for the greenthumb. The prices and the variety are great. If you need assistance, the staff are all too happy to help you out. Plenty of plant accessories as well and theya re also fairly cheap. Great place for anything PLANTS.
went in to have a look after a friend told me about this place. wish i would have known about it before - would have saved a hell of a lot of money.
bough a lemon tree and pot as i could not believe how cheap it was.
I remember visiting here as a child and seeing a kookaburra eat a snake in one of the tall gum tress.
All that aside, I might have to check them out again now that I have plants of my own to buy. Thanks for the review.
We fancied a wander round a garden cenrtre, to enjoy the sunshine and to look for some plants. Armed with a list of natives i was looking for we headed down to Trees A Green. Its been many years since my last visit and nothing has changed. Nothing, doesnt even appear to be any maintenance carried out. Disappointing array of plants on offer, and some looked really quite sad, yellowing and unhealthy. Only carry one type of azalia, which i found strange, even woolies has at least 4 types on offer. I asked of some assistance in find some of the particual speices i was looking for was was met with a short response, dont have any. At the check out havng picked something that wasnt on my list, when asking i i could plant what I had selected in mostly shade, they looked at me like a had a thid head.Hardly any of the plant has tags on that explained where they could be planted, how much water they need etc. Prices I felt were a little expensive for the quality you were getting.A disappointing visit.
Approximate cost: $21/.50

Approximate cost: $150
Visited the Nursery with a couple of friends today and bought some Hardenbergia (purple) and some shade plants, great value and my friends bought some Cordylines at absolute bargain prices. The business was booming with a big bus of visitors stopping in front of the shop and the group of people buying like children in a candy shop. It's quite out of my way but I definitely will be there again and will spread the word. Other Nurseries are ripping us off if tis Nursery can sell plants at those bargain prices!
Approximate cost: $12.95
Trees-a-green should be called trees-a-brown because most plants look sick or near death - its the place where plants go to die! Good variety of plants and most are too big for their pot obviously this is where plants come when they had their time at big nurseries like bunnings or mitre10. I've bought lots of plants from here and the success rate is very low - i guess you get what you pay for. The non plant products such as their pots and gravel and rocks are probably good value for money.
you must be colourblind, just visited the Nursery and saw nothing but blooming trees and healthy stock. Bought some Hardenbergia as I saw them almost doubble the price up the road!
this is a great nursery with heaps to choose from and definitely much much cheaper than most other nursery's, heaps of parking and cheap pots and garden products
