Trees-a-green should be called trees-a-brown because most plants look sick or near death - its the place where plants go to die! Good variety of plants and most are too big for their pot obviously this is where plants come when they had their time at big nurseries like bunnings or mitre10. I've bought lots of plants from here and the success rate is very low - i guess you get what you pay for. The non plant products such as their pots and gravel and rocks are probably good value for money.

We used to go there all the time because its the closest hardware store to our house but the service is awful. We have to wait a long time at the cashier and when i get there and show the mitre10 garden patch card none of the cahiers know how to give me the 10% discount. Surely the instructions can be printed and put near their computer like other instructions. I always hold up the line because they have to get a manager to put this discount through. The plants can be cheaper than bunnings sometimes and they have good discounts occassionly...especially on their fruit trees. Now we just go to Kelmscott garden centre next door or to bunnings because we are sick of the lack of quality of service

The doctors are really good here and the fees are reasonable and low cost. Can have long wait times though and they don't have a clock on the wall - its probably strategic. Some doctors are quick in out with in 5 minutes depending on the condition. Other doctors take a bit longer - I prefer the doctors who do take longer because you feel like you get your money's worth for your allocated 10 minutes. The reception staff, nurses and pathology are generally very nice. It's also handy to have the pharmacy within the same building. Parking can be hard to find or tricky to get into but i find it easier to park at the supermarket and cross the road.

Approximate cost: $free for under 16's and $60 for assessment
