This Motel is one of the Budget Motel Chain and as the name suggests is fairly basic but comfortable as accommodation goes. It has the standard amenities that you would expect of this type of premises. However what ever small failing the rooms had were greatly overshadowed by the friendliness and helpfulness of Derek and Sue the proprietors, who made our stay that much more rewarding and pleasurable. The surrounding mangrove area and boardwalk and the near by marina were a real bonus to what was a very quiet and peaceful stay.

Basic accommodation,and bearing in mind ongoing improvements being made, the location is great and so peaceful.
Derek was a very bubbly and talkative host and was only too happy to help us in any way. The motel is just across the road from a small,but very interesting mangrove area with a small boardwalk leading to a bird hide at the end. A short walk leads you to the beach where you can look across the bay to the town and there are other walking trails nearby.A very nice quiet location and thank you to Derek for your help.
