Disgraceful customer service and lack of care and compassion.
My two year old was asked to wait outside in the freezing cold because the doctor would be15 minutes late and they didn't like the fact he had started coughing inside.
Finally found a clinic with doctors who show they care. So hard to find a GP who will listen and empathise even if its a frustrating issue like depression.
Also like that i can book an appointment via the Heath Engine app
I attended this clinic for almost two years. I started coming here after years of being in the public system and wanting to go privately because of a complex medical history and needing a more closer relationship with a GP. I found both the doctors I began to see there, quite rude and abrupt. I often felt rushed in appointments and was once interrupted and told by the GP that she could not complete the referral letter I came in to get because she had other patients to see. I also found it very difficult to make emergency appointments when I started to become unwell. My tipping point was when I started to become symptomatic with my condition and was told by the GP 'what did you expect'. I could not believe how insensitive the experience was. I made the very difficult decision to leave the clinic in the middle of my treatment to find a new doctor. While the clinic is very nice, clean and boutique looking, the experience I had here was very poor and since leaving I have found a very caring and supportive GP.
Lovely clinic and i feel very well looked after. They are wonderful with kids and are very accommodating as a first time parent when things come up.
Brilliant GP. We (family of five) have been with Dr Franklin for many years now. She is an excellent GP for the whole family. Love the fact that we can get our test results online saving us a trip to the doc to discuss follow up advice. Online booking is awesome too. Most importantly though, she's been there for us out of hours and with no appointment when it really mattered.
Best doctor I've ever had. Dr Tamsin Franklin appears to really care and always offers great advice. The clinic itself is beautiful, has friendly staff and great books in the waiting area. Plus you can book online and receive test results online which I love!

Yesterday a 32 year old woman sat in our waiting room. She has cystic fibrosis and type 1 diabetes. Cystic Fibrosis is a severe genetic condition which causes massive lung damage. She has only had one shot of AZ vaccine to protect her against covid, so has about a 68% chance of catching it, should she happen to walk past someone with covid breathing out at the time she breathes in. She is on new medication now and has 40% lung capacity which has saved her from needing the lung replacement which had been scheduled for 2019.
I owe her a duty of care.
Your 2 year old probably does not have covid. I agree. But they might.This is the scenario I have to manage every day, so I am not apologizing for asking you to wait outside, and I do not apologize for protecting my staff and all of the other patients, about whom you know nothing.
Our online questions screen for contagion so if answered honestly, mean you speak to receptionists about getting the best and most appropriate appointment for you or your child so that everything runs as smoothly as it can when dealing with humans and human issues. These receptionists are not doctors, as you say. They are people who have valiantly managed over a year of distressed patients, constant mask wearing, hourly disinfecting of all surfaces and frequently changing rules. The hardest aspect of their job is coping with the kind of abuse you have demonstrated in both this review and your threatening email.
Thank you to all our patients who understand we are all just doing our best in very difficult circumstances, and thank you to the doctors, nurses and admin staff at Turn the Corner that went home feeling dispirited.
