Surprising for a catering company only to deliver Mon-Thurs. Initial communication by email was good. Later I emailed a question and did not receive a response. I then phoned and left a message, again no response. I phoned again and finally spoke to someone. The delivery was to my work on a Thurs. Apparently the driver could not find the entrance so instead of calling me s/he drove away and I got an email asking me to come to South Melbourne to pick it up. I rang and said this was not possible and why didn't the driver or the company call me and ask for directions. I was told the driver did try to ring which I find hard to believe as my phone was with me all day. They agreed to deliver to my home on the Friday however the delivery contained no cooking instructions. I was told they would be emailed. I had to take time out of a busy schedule to keep checking emails and eventually had to ring asking for the instructions. The person spoke to me like I was being a nuisance. I also thought the food was a bit light on and would not satiate 30 people. Extremely bad communications, possibly because I bought the package through a Scoupon deal, do not make me want to use the company again or recommend it to others.

Twisted Flair catered for our birthday party with commercially prefried food that lacked volume and presentation - nothing like the images on the website. Food was brought out on a small plate and not a quantity amount to serve over 30 people. Start was slow and guests were cold and hungry. A key dish was missing and no word of any substitute dish. Communication was poor and power failure occured many times due to unnecessary fryers being used. We had no control over how much food went out as some guests were not present due to illness, thus nothing left over for us to enjoy the next day. My son and myself were not offered as much food as our guests were - even though we were the hosts. The bar service (which was set up by us) was very slow and toast drinks were not served even though they were specifically requested. We will not be recommending this company to anyone as what was supposed to be an easy unstressful night turned out to be very stressful for me and my family.

Approximate cost: $800

Twisted Flair provided the catering for my daughter's 21st birthday party. Raj and Tori arrived and with no fuss at all cooked and served tasty finger food. Presentation was great, food was delicious, and the service excellent and unobtrusive. My daughter booked the gourmet party package times three through Scoopon, and added two staff members, and we were a little nervous, but were absolutely delighted on the night. Highly recommended!

Twisted Flair provided their catering services at my 40th birthday party. The 3 girls arrived on time, setup the kitchen and bar and provided great service all night. Their food was delicious and not just the run of the mill party food. All my guests thought it great. Lots of variety.
Very reasonably priced - but worth a whole lot more. There was lots of communication between booking and the date of the event.
Really good job.
Thanks
