fantastic Japanese +western fusion, top quality. We ordered the banquets and we were all very full at the end! There's an very cheerful Aussie staff who speaks some Japanese and wears Japanese cartoon shirt, very welcoming and made good recommendations. Our favorite dish is the cheese eggplant, the coffee sake is very special and the scallop melts your mouth. It's a little expensive, but quality food and great ambience worth the value.

Uchi Lounge was my first Japanese Restaurant after lots of sushi train and that experience was amazing. Fine food, superb atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner or with your best friends as well. I tried the banquet menu. Unbeatable!! Incredible combination of different plates. Trust me. I go there once a month and always I have good time.

Uchi Lounge is a very romantic little bar and restaurant just off Oxford St, near the city. They make fantastic sushi and cocktails, it's small and intimate and a brilliant spot for a date. The cuisine is more interesting than the usual sushi standard, and you have to try the tempura oysters with lime ponzu...I don't even normally LIKE oysters, but these are awesome!
