Shocking place. All they want to do is charge as much as they can for everything. Went there for a scratch on my dogs head. They were constantly asking me to come back and as I’m not a vet I wasn’t sure what to do and thought it was necessary. Ending up costing me over $1000. Then on the last visit for it I said I might not come back for his head all of a sudden I’m told “yeah it’ll be better in a week anyway” how conveinient. Then when I go for the soft pallet surgery for my dog they are wanting to charge min $2000 when last year my other dog had the same surgery for $1000. When I asked why so much difference they wouldn’t answer me other than say the business has been sold and things have changed and that my dog may also need a blood test for $220 and if something goes wrong in the surgery it’ll cost me more.

This place has just turned into the sort of place where they are trying to scam their customers and take advantage of them now

Best Vets around. Well priced and so knowledgeable. Don't rip you off for stuff that you don't need. Staff are genuinely happy to see you and your pet and remember you and your pets history each time.

I don't trust anyone else with my animals. I have going to Bob since he opened and has completely changed vet care for my animals - always informative and takes the time to make sure you understand everything and what to expect.

I've been taking my pets to Bob Cavey for over 10 years-from when he was at his previous location. If you want the problem diagnosed correctly first time and resolved & if you want good service, go and see Bob. My dog suffered for 4 weeks at another vet clinic when she got an eye ulcer. She was given nothing for pain after her eye was scraped and her eye wasn't improving. When I took her to Bob he operated on her eye and within no time it was as good as new. He diagnosed kidney disease very early in one of my other dogs and he lived an extra 3 years of good quality life as it was so well managed. He is very experienced, has a wonderful way with the animals (my dogs love going to the vets) and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I won't take my dogs anywhere else now even though this clinic is 30 mins away from my home.

This vet clinic really is the Ultimate in vet care for pets. Dr Bob is an abslutely fantastic vet and has a very gentle way with my dogs and is very supportive of the owner. He has diagnosed illnesses with my dogs that other clinics have missed. Great nursing staff that I'm completely comfortable leaving my precious dogs with. Fantastic communication and follow up. Lovely clean, welcoming clinic. Cannot recommend highly enough.

First time here and I was very impressed with Dr Bob. He was so very welcoming, friendly, thorough and explained eveything he did. You can tell he loves animals and was great showing my son what he was doing. Will definately be back!!
