Since we moved to Queensland we have had our car serviced here three times. Up till the last, we had no complaints. We also bought a set of tyres from them.
After a couple of months we noticed one of the tyres had lost pressure, so we pumped it up. We observed a few weeks later that it was again looking sad and reinflated it. By the third time, we realized we had a slow leak and on the next service we specifically asked for this to be investigated. The report came back that it was fine - no leak had been found after exhaustive testing.
No surprise then that the problem persisted and we finally took it to a tyre specialist, who not only found the leak in less than 5 minutes, but advised us that the tyre was beyond repair and needed replacing. The conclusion I draw from this is that either Ultratune had not bothered to test for the leak, or had just not found it. Either way, they were either cynically negligent or grossly incompetent.
I did not bother to return to claim the warranty on a 5-month old tyre. Some businesses you do not bother to deal with after they have let you down.
