Absolutely Terrible Experience....... I called unblock in Ipswich to come to my home to unblock a stormwater pipe late last year. They were the only plumbing company available to come out straight away and there was a storm forecast that afternoon so I used them. After 1 hour they informed me it was successful however on returning to pay them they informed me they had just run the eel through the council stormwater pit at the back of my yard to make sure and got it stuck. To my utter amazement then quoted me how much it would be to dig up my yard to remove it. After a heated discussion the 2 staff promised the management would ring me and then reversed over my brand new turf in spite. The call never came .... and after numerous phone calls and emails we were informed it was our fault and we would have to pay the large amount to have our new lawn dug up to remove unblock's apparently stuck eel..... MIND BOGGLING!!!!! We did not use Unblock again (thank goodness) however when we did employ another plumber to find the eel unblock had apparently got stuck in our drains there WAS NO EEL in the drain at all. So make your own assumption to what happened here. I would never use these guys. Good News was the plumber who came to dig up our lawn felt so sorry for us he did not charge us a thing and could tell me who had done it without me mentioning any name. mmmm say no more! What an experience.
