Support your local RSL. The excellent, thoughtful, versatile and seasonal menu is beautifully prepared. Service is friendly and excellent. The bar is great. The venue is salubrious and inviting. The RSL Museum is fascinating and professional. All in all, a superlative experience to be often repeated. The old reviews on this page are no longer relevant. This wonderful venue now has an excellent professional chef and the restaurant has undergone major changes in the last several years. You are in for a major treat when you visit.

This is my second & last attempt at the bistros new chef & menu, once again my meal was terrible i ordered lasagna that was frozen & not made on the premises, over priced considering the bad quality , the last cooks made good fresh food, but saying this the new bar manager is just great, friendly & helpful as is the rest of the staff, redoing the bistro would make this place top notch

This was one of my favorite places to go, they now have a new chef & bar manager, the food has become boring & tasteless & having spaghetti bolognese on the specials board is embarrassing & unacceptable, & the bar manager is unable to be consistent with his pricing. On the plus side the waiting staff are great & the museum is very interesting & professionally run.

Quality, Reasonably priced, Fast, Friendly service. This venue is a nice place to have a drink and support the Local RSL, Recently refurbished, and with a new Dining Room. Many locals can forget it is even there because of its hidden location. however imaging a nice fair priced meal, on a Thurs, Fri, Sat night. and now they do Sunday Breakfast
