Dr Boon Kua and his team offer a very professional service: from receptionists through to the specialist nurses. Dr Kua is very helpful, thoughtful, and explains everything well… helping to manage expectations at all times. The surgery and post-op support could not have been better. I also highly recommend doing Kegel exercises everyday for 1 month prior to surgery as this greatly assists with getting control of your bladder back. Michelle Kenway, an Australian Physiotherapist has excellent utube videos explaining Kegels.

It is almost seven months since I had my prostate removed following a diagnosis of aggressive cancer by Dr Kua.
The operation went smoothly as did the recovery apart from the discomfort of wearing a catheter for a few days.
I experienced some incontinence during the first two months and wore pads as a safeguard, but am now completely dry.
I have emerged today from a second post-op appointment with Dr Kua who advised my PSA is excellent and he will check me in another six months.
I can't fault the way my case has been handled and Dr Kua is not only a highly skilled urologist but a very personable man who takes a special interest in his patients.
