I am ecstatic that I found this Salon, I was recommended by a friend as I was complaining how hard it was to find a hairdresser who was actually a great stylist as well as a great colourist and she suggested I go and see Matt at VA. So now I am a very happy girl! lol
Matt does my hair awesome! and in the year I have been seeing him not once have I not walked out of the salon feeling like I look 100%. He is also a great guy too, fun to talk to and has a nice depth to him if you're in the mood for some interesting conversation. The salon is very welcoming and nicely and comfortably trendy (for lack of a better word) and Monique the apprentice is a hoot, and the only apprentice that I have ever let colour my hair! lol and she earned her stripes. It is a nice small style salon so makes for a nice personal feel, has really good music playing in the salon and the coffee there is very good. I wouldn't be surprised if the Salon is looking for another Hairdresser as they have been getting busier and busier over the year I have been there but I imagine that the atmosphere there will still stay personal and any additions would just become part of the crew...it's kinda what's cool about VA. Anyhow I would highly recommend Matt, Monique and VA Prof' for an all out across the board best salon in this neck of the woods. Cheers.
PS. Matt's specialises in free style cutting and has a very personal style which is very cool to watch, very passionate! lol
