I have eaten breakfast at Vagelis several times, lured by the "best breakfast in Brisbane" tag and while the food is good, the service is absolutely appalling. Waiting times after ordering are ridiculous, the staff are bordering on the downright rude and the last time we went there they forgot our order! I cannot understand the ratings this place gets, no breakfast is worth the terrible service.

Vageli's is fantastic! I've eaten here many times for lunch and the food is delicious. The pasta is fantastic, but what keeps me coming back is the salads. The Warm Lamb and Octopus salads are fantastic. They are massive serves also and probably the best salads in Brisbane.

The service has always been fantastic and the restaurant has a great atmosphere which looks out over racecourse road.
