Booked a table upstairs last night 16/5, excited first time for my friends. Ordered Dips for Entree said to my friends the dips are so yummy. The waiter brought us bowl of fries , no we ordered Dips. Friend ordered stuffed Eggplant , he couldnt wait to eat it , he was given Lasagne, I know it was a busy night and very noisy , but Eggplant and lasagna dont even sound the same.
Ordered Pink Moscato , received white wine. Sorry Vanilla , after raving to my friends about your restaurant, was disappointed. Plenty of other places in Oakleigh to eat.

One of the best places, if not the best, in Oakleigh for coffee and cakes. Good spot for people watching too and always. always busy!

The cakes, biscuits and sweets here are all so good! There's a huge variety to choose from but for me the winner is the cannoli, they were beautiful.

Made an order for an assortment of delicious tarts & cannoli's over the weekend. Everything was so well presented & packaged and they went down a hot. The cannoli's from here are so wonderful, special touch with the chocolate lining in the pastry shell!

Vanilla is our goto place for dessert. I'm a sweet tooth and so is my wife and we're here almost twice a week at night. The best part is that its open late and we get what we want the most. The chocolate mousse is delicious and so are the chocolate pastries. The fruit tarts are quite delicious as well. They have a good snack menu and of course who could miss the authentic greek baklava.

Vanilla is our go to place for tasty food and cakes! It is reasonably priced, parking is easy, and the staff service well :) Ensure you try the salt and pepper calamari or the open souvlaki. For a snack/smaller meal, try the pita or chicken and mushroom pita. In summer time, have a traditional frappe :) Will quench the thirst and keep you buzzing all day

I was here on 2 occasions for coffee and dessert and both times the food was really good and the service was great. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's very busy busy but definitely worth a visit.

Delicious cakes and food to be had. Only down side is the noise - super load and crowded, but only because it is so popular. I've tried most of their cakes and have yet to be disappointed. Favourite is the green tea mango mousse cake - cute and delicious!

Really nice cafe in the centre of Melbourne's Greek community. They are always extremely busy because of their popularity, espcially within the local community. Their cakes are amazing!! but often the service is quite slow for the price, maybe because its so busy. I still love going there!
