I visited this cafe for lunch with my daughter and her boyfriend. Seats were comfortable, service was good and the place was airy and bright. The food was mostly Greek but there was plenty of choice. I had a very tasty lamb souvlaki, my daughter had mousaka and the friend had fish and chips. The servings were huge!

Vanilla is one of the most friendly places i have ever been to, everyone is so kind! The cakes and sweets are utterly amazing, with tastes to die for! It can be a little pricey but seriously what does it matter if the high quality meets the price. Best place to go with friends, to chat and relax.

Excellent cafe and lounge. On the weekends and evenings it tends to be very noisy when sitting outside. It is quite nice though to visit and enjoy the lovely sweets. Coffee is good and service is satisfactory.

Defnitely one of Oakleighs finest places to dine. Food is good quality, service is good though if really busy can be slow, great variety on the menu, good coffee, defnitely worth a visit.

This cafe/restaurant is a very pleasant place, especially on cool evenings. Service was moderate in terms of time, but otherwise good. The food was good as well, reasonable value for money. Nice cakes and rolls - I've heard positive reviews as well from friends

Vanilla is one of our favorite places to go and we often bring visitors there. The food, especially the desserts are great. Had dinner there one night and the meat platter was fantastic. The chips are one of the best I have had. The one donside to the food is the scrambled eggs for breakfast: its too firm and does not taste good. Coffe is ok.

Very comfortable places to relax and catch up with friends over some great food.

Sitting in Vanilla is a pleasurable experience, as you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh area or sit inside and smell the beautiful aromas of the cakes and sweets in the Vanilla. The food and drinks are made of quality and taste spectacular, the service can be annoying sometimes as you have to wait a long time to be served your order.

Vanilla is one of my favourite cafes to visit in Oakleigh. Sometimes the service can be slow but the staff are very friendly. They are only slow because it is so popular. The quality of the food is excellent and perfect for eat in or take away, especially if you are looking for nice biscuits or cakes to take to a friend. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Coffee is also excellent and has been reviewed by many of my friends. Cafe has comfortable booths inside and heaps of seats outside for when the weather is good.
