If I lived closer I would probably live here! First time here after hearing positive things about it and so glad I tried it out. Food is delicious, cheap and presented beautifully. Loved the Velvet burger which was cooked to perfection. Lively and friendly staff and very welcoming. Will be finding any excuse to make my way back to this side of the city again!

I often have morning-tea at the Velvet Bar with my work colleagues. The staff are very friendly and courteous and the coffee is always brewed to perfection! Strongly recommended if you are in Port Melbourne and looking for a coffee/tea in a relaxed atmoshpere.

Best breakfast around, friendly and attentive staff, and a great atmosphere next to the Town Hall building in Bay Street Port Melbourne. Check out the "Huge pancake" with strawberries! Yum.

Great place for breakfast, fast service, not posh food, just hearty food in large helpings. It would be an unsual to wait longer than 10-15 for breakfast. They retain their staff, so that also is a good sign. I wish they had a few more vegie items (i.e things without egg) - but even so I always enjoy my breafaat there. We're there almost every weekend
