A little surprise in South Melbourne. Aribar is not a bar really it's a restaurant, and a fantatsic one at that. Great italian food, great service and a lovely dining experience. It's open for breakfasts and lunch most days and Friday nights.

Who doesn't love a cup cake? - This bakery has a great shop font and a nice selection of cupcakes eg: carrot, stickydate pudding, chocolate, and at least 10 more. It's about $3.50 per cup cake and they are pretty big. 80% of the time the cupcake has been great and couple of other times it was a little dry (maybe I was just unlucky). I won't stop me going though.

Readings is great. Convenient location, helpful staff. They are happy to order in a book for you and will call you when in comes in. The have a great selection of pretty stationary goods too (it's hard to come away without something you didn't intend to buy). They have CD's and a cafe too.

It seems wrong to give 3 stars on each of quality, service and value then rate the vineyard 4 stars overall. The food is good, the wine is ok, the service is generally very average to poor - but the atmosphere is great. Going to the vineyard is a really local experience, the staff are party goers, young and disinterested but this just adds to the laughs you can have during the experience. There is not better way to spend a lazy afternoon in st kilda. The comment from OH2 made me laugh about the death stare. I so know what you mean. But you can usually find us here any friday for after work drinks for an unpretentious, fun time.

Mizuzu's have great, authentic village style japanese. They have a formal restaurant and also a take away sushi and salad bar with a huge selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes. The quality and variety is fantastic. It has a very authentic feel right down to teh staff who are mostly japanese.

The best Thai in Port Melbourne. The food is so fresh and clean tasting. Authentic thai flavours. We never go anywhere else. The delivery time is fast too around 25-30 mins.

Bruce is an excellent photographer at a reasonable price. He is a real character too and carries a ladder around so enable him to take group shots. He really likes tro make sure he gets a photo of everyone at the wedding. My photo's were just gorgeous. He asks you if there is any things special you'd like to capture for me it was when my husband saw me and my husbands close relationship with his mother. He captured them both beautifully. He also travels.

Carol Huish married my husband and I in 2001. She was recommended to us. Carol really made our day so special. I've been to weddings before where the celebrant took away from the day, she only added to it. Carol is warm, professional, experienced, caring, humorous and even asks you what colour she should wear so she can match the wedding party. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Passionfoods has a good organic section, but is not an all organic produce store. The stock they have that is not organic is very good quality though. It's good if you want mostly organic produce, but can't be bothered going to another grocer for the stuff that's not available as organic. They also have a good loyalty program and you can order organic or free range turkeys, ham etc for xmas.

Shopping for a dress here was fun. The shop assistant that helped me, made me want to go back to the store. She recommend a few things I wasn't keen on then we found one which was perfect and she cheered me on, as i fit into a size smaller than expected. Great dresses for cup, weddings, cocktail party, etc.
