It's a nice place, nice food, ok service. I like coming here, and I'm huge fan of a roast veg salad they serve with goat's cheese. But really, it's just like a whole ot of similar places.

The staff seemed a little 'absent'. Great spot, lots of things happening around the cafe. Menu was really interesting - so hard to choose. Meal was great. Fresh produce, beautiful flavours - look forward to returning.

Excellent location and great venue. I wouldn't mind the high prices if the service was up to scratch.

Every time I go there I am amazed by the quality of the food. It is all expertly cooked from fresh ingredients, and no matter what you order, you will be impressed. The Service can be a little slow, and the meals are a little expensive, but of similar prices to any other nice cafe.

Sat down for an early lunch. Had to wait 10 minutes for a menu, despite there being only 4 other customers. We were then told that they weren't serving lunch yet. Decided to leave, as the waitress wasn't particularly polite and we weren't off to a good start waiting that long for menus anyway.

Very interesting interpretations of traditional dishes. It was good but a little expensive for the portions sizes. Drinks were expensive as well.

Approximate cost: $30

We booked early and scored a table for three right by the fire. Excellent spot for warmth and ambience. The Porcini Pappadelle, Chicken Risotto and Chimmichunga were enjoyed by all. Lots of variety on the menu, something for everyone. Service was prompt and polite.

Approximate cost: $20-$30

I quite like the decour in this restaraunt. They do really nice meals, although I found the service to be a little slow, but the great food made up for it. I like the back wall, which has the dictionary definition of the word verve printed in different fonts, something different and great to look at. After going for lunch and enjoying it, I was dissapointed to find they weren't open for breakfast very early.

Approximate cost: $25

personally i'm not a big fan of the modern/funky decor, but the food is great as is the service. Another one of those good consistent canberran resteraunts smiliar in manuka to belluci's and the tryst
