The last few weeks have been very busy. We have had the kitchen in our new apartment completely renovated and other building work carried out prior to moving in this weekend.

The level of service we have recently seen from the wide range of tradies and deliverymen that we have encountered has ranged from excellent to farcical.

When, like us, you are under pressure and really stressed out with moving (not to mention juggling work and looking after a toddler) what you need to do is call Vicmovers. They turn up on time and they get the job done with no fuss.

They are not simply good at lifting heavy boxes; they plan ahead and carry out the job in a flexible and efficient manner.

Finally, a job that can be ticked off the list without something going wrong.

Amar and Mason made our move look like a piece of cake! The care they took with all of our furniture and items was exceptional and would highly recommend them. We were still packing as they were loading the truck and were extremely accommodating. We were amazed at how fast the loading, travel time and unloading took as we moved from the west to the eastern suburbs. We are very thankful for the support they provided and were worth every cent. I found that they were reasonably priced compared to other removalists when I was shopping around the quality of there workmanship and friendliness was by far the best. If you are looking for value for money and excellent removalists, I would highly recommend them and if I could, I'd give them 6 stars. Thank you Amar and Mason for making our lives easier.

This is a belated review from a move last year.

I don't know where to begin with this review. It was shortly after Christmas and my partner and I were moving in together to an apartment about a 20 minute drive away. I had booked a move for late December with a budget mover online about a month an advance, and they never showed up. I booked with another budget mover for the following day, but at this point I was desperate and decided to try my luck at a slightly higher priced mover.

I found Vicmover highly recommended, and though their prices were higher, they were still reasonable. I called to see what they could do for me and managed to speak to Amar on the phone. I explained the whole situation to Amar and he was very sympathetic, and said they had an opening the next day to do my move if I was willing.

Amar and his partner (apologies, I forget the name), showed up on a very hot day to help me with the move. They were considerate, friendly, and fast. In the interest of trying to save as much money as I could my partner and I helped out with the move as much as we could, and Amar directed us as to how we could be the most use, for which I was very grateful.

I had planned to catch the tram so I could meet them at the new property we were moving to, but they offered to let me hitch a ride in the truck and even gave me a bottle of powerade, I almost felt like I was part of the team!

In the end, I found out the reason I was able to secure a next day booking was because Amar had rostered the day off due to the heat, but after hearing my story booked me in anyway. I couldn't be more thankful, and I apologize for the late review! The Vicmovers card has been on my fridge ever since and I will most certainly be using them again for my future Melbourne moves.

Amar and Rohan (Hope I got his name right) were absolutely fantastic with our big move. We were moving over an hour away and needed to do it all in one go. They gave us the next size up truck for a good price. We didn't have a lot of furniture, but had amassed a fair few pot plants of all sizes. They got everything in the truck and everything arrived perfectly. Not one plant even had a broken branch or dropped fruit. They worked very efficiently in both packing and unloading of the truck, there was no damage to any of or boxes or furniture. They even helped out with moving some bigger items once we unloaded everything to make life easier for us. So glad we chose to move with VicMovers.

Amar and Rohan did an amazing job with our move! They touched base the day before just to double check everything, they were very professional yet also friendly which was a nice change! We also had a lot of plants and fruit trees to move and were worried about branches snapping off but they were very careful with packing them. They will be the movers I recommended, and as much as I would like to use them again we hope not to move any time soon!

Vicmovers relocated a spa from Mornington to Essendon for me. The pick up had very limited access but the guys took the utmost care and were very cautious not to damage the hot tub. I would use these guys again without hesitation.

We used Vic Movers in December, a couple of days before Christmas. Amar and his team were exceptional. Access to the rear of our property was tight and the truck was big! No problem for Amar as he expertly backed the truck into an impossible space! I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Amar is always on top of things and is friendly, polite and professional. The guys were super careful and efficient. Even when we couldn't get the washing machine through the laundry room door, they hatched a cunning plan and we had it sorted out in no time. These guys go above and beyond and Amar is always one step ahead, they're a credit to the profession and i can't recommend them highly enough. I would definitely use them again. Thanks guys!

We used Vicmovers to transport our two households - one in Kallista, the other in Ringwood to one location in Croydon.The team of Amar, David and Saad handled this professionally at all times, and with apparent ease. They arrived punctually and their packing and handling of furniture and other possessions was done expertly and with appropriare care.

I had said to Amar at the initial phone conversation that I didn't want to worry about how the movers were coping with the task. Vicmovers fulfilled this requirement beyond my expectations, and contributed to a stressful move being as pleasant as possible. David, Saad and Amar instilled confidence with their competence and easy personalities. Their flexibility proved invaluable. At the end of the packing of the truck, Amar pointed to a number of very large potted fruit trees, and asked whether I'd like them to pack some of those as there was still room in the truck. This was a godsend as I had planned to move these plants the following day, but was wondering how I would manage that on top of everything else! The team proceeded to pack all the large plants in the truck in what seemed like minutes.
