I wish I could give them less than 1 star. The only thing that was completed well was that they came on time. Which that this point is a very low bar. They quoted me $125 an hour and $62.50 (call out fee), which is much lower than market rates out there but save yourself the stress and just pay more for a reliable and professional service. Two men and a 5-tonne truck arrived. I had specifically requested they bring an electric screwdriver to dismantle certain things and they didn't even bring it. They chipped my window frame and scratch my wall during the move. But the worst part was the communication. I asked them simple questions during the move, in which they would look at me and not respond and literally walk away. Incredibly stressful process and unprofessional. ZERO STARS.

If you’re considering using Victoria Movers, DON’T. I am a single mum and booked these guys in to support with my move. I was told based on my inventory list that it would be 2-3 hours and $125 an hour. The movers took 7 hours. For a 2 bedroom home. They rocked up an hour early but I wasn’t home as I was picking up the keys to the new house and the booking was for 10, not 9 am.

Let me explain the scenario so you get a clear picture of how much they took. I had organised ALL boxes in sections in my garage. Ready to be loaded directly onto the truck as they had full access right outside my garage. I told them this, they did not load and unload them this way. Just random and would have saved a hell of a lot of time.
There was only large furniture I couldn’t lift inside the house. A small couch, two coffee tables, a small TV, a fridge, a washer, one tall boy, a cot that was dismantled, a rocking chair and a king sized bed that didn’t need dismantling. Out of 50 boxes they only brought 10 into the new house plus SOME of the furniture. The drive from my old house, to the new house was 25 minutes and it took two trips because they couldn’t provide a larger truck. They were able to back right up to the new house as well. So the majority of boxes direct from truck to garage as they didn’t bring much in my house at all

One of the guys answered his phone constantly. Which meant his partner was left doing a lot more of the work and solo for that matter.
They were doing an efficient job until they didn’t make it to the second job at 1 pm, I noticed a drastic change in pace. When I asked if they still had to do that job, they replied no someone else took it. So it was evident they were taking the time because they wanted to make coming from Melbourne worth their while. Took full advantage of the situation.

To top it all off, they over charged me by $84. Which they did pay back upon complaining. The management has every excuse under the sun for why the guys took so long. I even had photo evidence proof of my belongings. How much they didn’t bring in and the little they did bring in. They didn’t care. Said moving is a hard job and he still had to pay them. Seriously, reconsider using them at all costs. Lack of compassion for the customer, only wanted to defend the removalists. They clearly had not much experience. If I wasn’t a single mum I would have said more when they were there but I felt incredibly uncomfortable.
