Established optometry practice for 25 years servicing Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula, we pride ourselves on offering professional but friendly service with our priority being to maintain good vision and eye health for our patients. Recently relocated to 34 Wells Street making us more accessible to our clients.

Our Optometrist, Carol Van (member Optomestrists Assoc. Aust), will provide you with a comprehensive eye examination using the latest technology including retinal photography. This includes a full check of your vision and also the health of your eyes, looking for early symptoms of any eye disease including glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetes. Did you know eye disease is silent, often presenting no symptoms until it can be too late to save your vision?

We offer the widest range of fashion frames and sunglasses in Frankston. Brands include Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, D & G, Rayban, Ted Baker, Wayne Cooper, Leona Edmiston, Jono Hennessy, Maui Jim and more. We also stock a range of Face a Face frames which are beautifully handcrafted in Paris.

Our team of friendly, fully qualified Optical Dispensers will provide professional advice on the best choice of lenses for your vision and also assist in selecting a spectacle frame to give you a whole new look. Let us make you look fabulous!!

NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THE FRIENDLY STAFF AT VLPE A VERY PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE WAS SHOWN THROUGHOUT MY VISIT ESPECIALLY WHEN SELECTING FRAMES. ALSO A GOOD RANGE TO CHOOSE FROM.

I purchased some new glasses from VLR Eye care after my sister raved about them. I found the staff to be friendly, courteous and helpful and wouldn't hesitate to give them return business. I in turn recommended my partner who experienced the same value and outstanding service.

Excellent! I find every aspect of this business to be outstanding! All the staff are knowledgeable, helpful & courteous. My eye test was the best I've had, extremely thorough. Also, the choice of frames far exceeded my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending VLR Eye-care.

The most thorough eye test I have had. The optometrist took time to explain everything to me and didn't rush me at all. The staff were very helpful and honest in helping me choose a new frame. I would most definitely recommend this business to anyone.
