Before changing to Optus I was with Vodafone for my mobile phone prepaid.

The service was terrible, always had slow connection, and my calls would always drop out in the middle of conversation.

Customer service was up and down, and I could never understand the staff members.

I was only with Vodafone for a year before I changed my provider, and that was enough.

It was expensive prepaid for what I was getting in return.

Thanks for the heads-up! Reeces

Avoid at all costs, I have had months of trouble with their broadband wireless internet. I had appalling issues and problems with their mobile phone service so I sent the ombudsmen onto them to end my contract.

A few months later I was informed '3' merged with Vodafone and I was convinced to give their internet a go (stupid thing to do)
Not only have I had terribly slow speeds but the connection drops out all the time. I have used the internet in a few suburbs and it's the same.

Simple Google search feedback and see how many angry ex customers.

Hi Karent29, thanks for adding your review. Unfortunately, many phone companies appear to be plagued with similar complaints. We are pleased to have avoided such a company, and as you mentioned, there are many dissatisfied ex-customers! Regards, Reeces

Excellent helpful service by Aaron. He recommended a great phone for me and set it up so it was all ready to go. Will be recommending this store.

I was with Vodafone for a few years on the 365 day prepaid plan. I don't use my mobile phone much, so it was fine for me. But for anyone wanting to use their phone more or call overseas, there are other companies that offer better deals.

They're too expensive on the 365-day prepaid plan & I've changed to Gotalk mobile

I've been on the Vodafone prepaid 365-day plan for many years now but after March 2012, their rates skyrocketed, so much so that it was too expensive & not viable for me to continue with them so I decided to change provider. I had to make quite a few calls for the transfer to take place as it took more than a week due to change of ownership of phone and release to new provider.

I experienced almost the same issues with Vodafone. Too expensive and very bad customer service. I am glad I changed providers.

It seems that they have a capped plan that really means the minimum price you will pay is capped! not the maximum its a bit missleading there terminology.
