I was forced to move to Vodaphone from 3. I purchased a Samsung S2 as I needed a straightforward phone for my wife to use. It all started well enough but after four and a half months the microphone failed. I took the phone to the Rouse Hill Vodaphone store who sent it off for service supplying me with an unworkable old LG phone. After three weeks I picked up the phone to be told they had replaced the phone with a new one. I took it home but it would not connect to the WiFi. I took it back asking for an immediate replacement as they had supplied a faulty item. They insisted it had to go for service. I insisted and they called the telephone centre and spoke with an assistant who also insisted, then a supervisor who insisted and since then by email someone who keeps parroting the line. I have offered to upgrade but want no penalty, or change to an equivalent or even release me to go somewhere else but to absolutely no avail. My needs as a customer have ben ignored and they are not fulfilling their obligation to supply a working product that I have paid for. The best they will offer is one month's credit. It is simply not good enough. The customer comes second to bureaucratic snafu. The store says they need authorisation but the telecenter refuses to give it yet the email correspondent says its up to the store. I'm stuck in the middle with no prospect of a satisfactory outcome. I could not recommend Vodaphone given what I have experienced.

That is a pretty disgusting attitude from Vodafone! I empathise with your situation, it makes me glad that I changed mobile phone providers.

i have changed to vodaphone 2 years back and was disaapointed with the coverage . the cost is low but we need coverage which it lacks. the wifi connection is always dropped in middle which sometime increase the cost of my bill...and eventually calling the customer service. overall 2 out of 5 experience

I use Vodafone for my teenage sons phone as the plans are super cheap,I can get him huge amounts of txt, call and Internet credit really cheap.coverage isn't great, but he doesn't need it as he's right in town so that's not an issue.customer service is always good, sometimes have issues with their call centre employees English but they always get the issue sorted so no dramas!

I've had horrible network issues, thankfully I don't pay too much for my mobile plan. I think Vodafone really needs to improve just about everything from call centres to their network towers. However, I always manage to reach customer service and they're usually willing to give me a discount for my next months bill.

Yes it certainly does pay to ask for a credit off your next bill if you are unhappy with their service. I tried this and received money off my next bill so thanx for the tip!

Clearly a huge disappointment for many. Thanks for the heads-up! Reeces

For wireless Broadband , I believe for the modest user the provide one of the best services around .
Especially if you use their "Pocket Wifi " modem.

Approximate cost: $29 mthly
