Since mum is a hard core Bailey's lover, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to introduce her to this store during our recent outing to west lakes shopping centre. A small little store, it is arranged according to categories of wines, oils, spirits and vinegars - with a HUGE variety, all ready to be sampled.
The tastes are intense and super unique (eg. fig vinegar, hazelnut liqueur and even white truffle oil).
However as with anything unique you gotta pay the big bucks for the tiniest little bit; a tiny 100 ml of the truffle oil costing almost $10. To add to the 'financial wound' you actually have to buy a bottle from the store to actually put the liquid into (again not cheap) that you can re-use. Not the place to go to if you're on a strict budget...unless you want to do a 'dodgy' and sample away without purchase...although I wouldn't recommend that!
An interesting place to go for something a bit 'gourmet' and unique
