We were recommended VSMA to help purchase our first investment property. After our initial meeting with the team and gathering all of the information required we decided to go with a SMSF and purchase an investment via the SMSF.

The process was very thorough from start to finish with Sam and his team keeping in constant contact with us until we found the right property.

VSMA and their entire team from their financial advisors, mortgage brokers to the admin staff have been amazing in sourcing us the right products to best suit our needs in a very timely manner. Being new to the SMSF strategy, all questions were well answered, giving us complete confidence in the decisions that we have made.

We engaged VSMA to explore property investment, unsure if we were even eligible or where to start. The process was completely new to us, and we had plenty of reservations—costs, mortgages, tenants—you name it. During the very first meeting, everything was explained clearly and professionally, which quickly put our minds at ease.

We decided to move forward, and from that point on, VSMA and their team of brokers and planners had everything mapped out to the dollar. Now that we’ve completed our first build, we’re genuinely amazed at how accurate their predictions were and how smoothly the entire process ran.

It’s been eight months since that first meeting, and not only is our first investment property complete, but the second is already underway. There were, of course, some minor hiccups with paperwork, builders, and councils, but VSMA handled them all without issue.

I would highly recommend reaching out to VSMA if you're thinking about purchasing an investment property. My wife and I found the whole process to be very smooth and everyone we dealt with at VSMA (including their partners) were extremely helpful throughout. We appreciated the regular Zoom meetings which helped establish a better relationship and understanding, and we felt comfortable to ask lots of questions, and we did! We were kept up to date with regular emails and meetings, and expectations were clearly set.
The initial estimate for settlement was Oct/Nov 2021, but we settled in July 2021! Thanks VSMA.
