I recently purchased a pair of shoes at a cost of $137.00 and after wearing them for approximately 2 and 1/2 months the stitching had come undone on one shoe. I returned to the store only to be told that they were worn out and after consulting with her shoe maker deemed unrepairable. Well today I have had the shoes repaired at my shoe maker and will advise all not to shop at Walk Shoe Shop situated at Hillarys Boat Harbour.

BEWARE! I usually buy 3-4 pairs of expensive shoes each year from Walk Shoe Store at Hillarys Marina. Just before Christmas a friend and I each purchased a pair of Alyssa metallic sandals, one of which the proprietor gave me to try on and the other he retained still wrapped in tissue in the box behind the counter. When I wore them for the first time, my friend remarked that the beaded section on the front of one sandal was crooked and set off to the left. I returned the sandals to the store, but the proprietor refused to acknowledge that there was a fault, but then stated the 'fault is normal' as these sandals are 'hand sewn'. He refused to give me an exchange or a credit. He continually gushed how beautiful the sandals were and how wonderful they had looked on my feet (despite my having tried only one sandal on and previously stating that he didn't remember me buying them there). I have checked several other online retailers, and none of these sandals have this fault or state that they are 'hand sewn'. They are also $50 cheaper on other sites and with free shipping. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM WALK SHOES AT HILLARYS MARINA. I am very disappointed with the proprietor's poor attitude, his refusal to abide by the exchange/refund policy and I will be contacting his supplier and also the Ministry of Fair Trading regarding this issue.

Best shoes I've bought it's a brilliant find this shop it's my absolute favorite they seem to have different stuff to other shops in Perth. You go to one shopping centre and basically you have done them all they are all the same . I'll be going here to look for shoes first in future.
