We love going to Playgroup here. The building is located in a park so the kids can run around outside if we like. There is a playground right next to the venue, it has a kitchen and we have 2 storerooms packed with toys for all ages.

As the location is used by 0 - preschool aged kids, we have tried to arrange the toys carefully into boxes and zones so Mums and Dads can take out what they would like for each group of children but must, of course, check what is in there.

With lots of different times available throughout the weekdays a nice big area for the kids to play, daily cleaning, craft items and toilets inside, I feel it provides a nice place to meet (I don't have to stress about cleaning up our own house!).

The ceiling is high, which, we all agree, helps to keep it cool despite there being no aircon. Those who have been there for summer already stated they are very happy with the temp inside.

We also have a French speaking group that meets on Wednesdays. Please check the Playgroup WA website for contact details as the phone number on this posting is no longer correct.

Being part of Playgroup WA means you are covered by their insurance so if something were to happen to you or one of the other members/children you would have cover for this. The cost at writing is $30/year to be part of Playgroup (covers you for any Playgroup) and $20 per family/per term to cover costs/toys/coffee etc.

Families from within the city of Joondalup take first preference but all welcome to join.

We were 8 mum's looking for somewere to meet and joined the playgroup. At the time our little ones were between 10 - 12 months old. The toys were seperated into age groups but it always seemed the toys were all mixed up making it dangerous for our kids. hen it came to summer our babies were roasting in there as there was no airconditioning.
