Best guys to go out on the reef with if you are staying in Port Douglas. The sites they visit are spectacular and its great not to have hundreds of other people there, just the 30 or so from your boat. Can't recommend Wavelength highly enough :)

Before deciding which Great Barrier Reef tour operator we'd go with, we sought out opinions from a number of local residents and we studied the glossy brochures from the main tour operators. In the end we chose Wavelength, as their tours cater for a maximum of 30 people and their tours compared favourably in every other regard. Other operators have larger boats and cater for larger crowds, but we wanted an organisation that was likely to give us a personal tour.
In summary, with a little help from the good weather, our trip was better than we'd hoped.
Wavelength's team includes qualified marine biologists and they were passionate about showing us some of the best places to visit whilst also ensuring this magnificent resource is well cared for. The snorkelling gear is good quality, clean and well maintained, and the food and drinks were great.

In summary, I can highly recommend Wavelength to anyone who is looking for a personal experience on the Reef.
