My experience with westmead was good and a happy one as i deliver my baby their. just a small complain with the pathalogy staff who takes the blood very cruel in pinching the needle my whole hand was blue when i was discharge.

The emergency is very bad with pretty rude staff as i entered there with contractions and they just sent me away without offering any help whatsoever
But when we finally reached the hospital they were lovely and had my gorgeous daughter,
Received great help from them and the nurses were very lovely.
Food was not too bad either, pretty good for a hospital

I have been there for several times! It is a really good hospital but not the best! waiting in line to see a doctor takes hours, however appointments is much smoother. Its clean and services are ok.

Had to wait for a very long time to see a doctor. When I did get through they just did a blood test and gave me injections for I don't know what. not sure if I fell asleep or not. Still however the service wasn't so great, had to go into alot of trouble and stress to get anything out it then I just got a referral letter to see a specialist and what not.

My sister had her 3 children there and the midwives are fantastic, alWays attentive and available. They are very busy though, the rooms and equipment are new. I would have my baby there.

I had both of my children here, I must say the second time around it was much better. With the new maternity unit it was just a better experience. New rooms, new everything.
With our first child we attended the preparation classes which was great for us as we did not have any idea what was to come.

The after birth classes were fantastic. Overall a good experience

I was at this hospital for the birth of my second child. Prior to that I attended the classes in preparation for this and they were very good and informative. I could choose how I wanted to have the baby and because of this it was easier for me the second time around. The birth experience took only a few hours and I chose to have an early discharge after 48 hours. I had home visits by the nurse after that until I was able to cope on my own.
