When I first needed to open a bank account I did not have much money. I went to a first bank (I won't tell the name) and it was quite complicated, I had to wait for the agency manager to be available for an interview (3 days) and it would have cost me account fees. I decided to try another bank and went to that Westpac branch. I could immediately meet someone in charge with banking and I could open the bank account in less than 1/2 hour.
