We stayed here in a studio cabin on the way to Coffin Bay and also on return trip. The cabin was comfortable and clean and had cooking facilities for our dinner and breakfast. The park is located on the beach and is a discovery park and also a Top Park.

Approximate cost: $110

The cabins are spacious, comfortable and have a great view of the sea, it is enjoyable just sitting on my large decked balcony enjoying a glass of wine and relaxing after a long drive. I felt lost in my king size bed, had a very good nights sleep.

My husband and I decided to stopover in Whyalla to break up our long trip and stayed in one of their Deluxe Cabins. Fortunately they gave us a decent discount because my husband had stayed here numerous times. It was nicely positioned with beautiful sea views. The cabin was spacious, especially the bathroom - there was room for a spa (they should put one in) Our bed was king size and quite comfortable. My issues were with parking our vehicle, the person next to us said it was her spot because she had been using it for 2 weeks, it was actually our parking spot as my husband had stayed in this particular cabin many times, but we moved our vehicle just to keep the peace. There was a tv in our bedroom which did not work - the remote had a label on it saying "not sure if working - must check" well they obviously just ignored that. As for the toilet light switch, it was faulty, it kept turning back on when you would walk away. Even with the discount, I didn't think it was worth our money.

The Manager of the caravan park just called me and apologised for the issues and has offered us a free night the next time we are in Whyalla. I am glad they wanted to fix the problem and we will take them up on that offer.

Approximate cost: $120

Disappointing when things do not work. Offers to use at another time are nice but do not fix the problem when you are there

Yes I agree with your, I would have preferred our money back actually as Whyalla isn't really on our visiting list unless it is on the way to some work my husband is doing. It may be a year before we use it.

I cannot fault this guys, always very friendly and helpful. I stayed here another 2 night last week and once again stayed in the seaview cabin, very spacious with cooking facilities. It was very relaxing sitting on my balcony at the end of the day enjoying a glass of wine and pleasant views.

A fabulous caravan park right on the foreshore in Whyalla, I stayed in one of their spacious seaview cabins. It was actually a 6 berth cabin and I had it all to myself, very spacious, clean and comfortable, great cooking facilities, a covered balcony and wonderful relaxing views of the water. I was originally booked into the garden view cabin but fortunately there was a cancellation and I managed to move into the seaview at no extra cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful, informing me they do a bbq every tuesday for dinner at $10, great value. I will definitely be staying here this week coming. The price per night was $99, excellent value.

Approximate cost: $99
