Our family have been going to this practice for many years. The staff are always friendly and if you have sick young children, they always manage to find an appointment fairly quickly. They don't always run on time, however, when I broke my ankle, I was seen to immediately. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice.

This is my regular clinic & would never go anyhwere else. All the doctors here are excellent. The waiting time may be a little long at times, depending on who your seeing, but with my GP, he's worth the wait.
The reception staff are also wonderful, & always greet you by name.
The only down-side, for a clinic, is the stairs leading to two of the consulting rooms. I feel sorry for people with wheelie walkers & sticks who have to negotiate these to see their respective GP's.

Approximate cost: $52-62

Comfortable waiting rooms with plenty of magazines. Fantastic children's play room fully stocked with toys, books and activities + a chair for the parent. Don't usually have to wait long to be seen when I have an appointment. Friendly, professional doctors and efficient desk staff. If you do have a long wait, mention that the patient is nauseous, and you'll be seen to immediately!!

I followed my usual GP to this practice over a year ago. Whilst it's a nice new building and the staff are professional, it's often hard to get an appointment within 72 hours of phoning. This sucks if you are sick. The last two times I have called wanting to see the doctor for treatment for illness and also to get a sick certificate for work - getting an appointment in 3 dyas time doesn't really help me out much.

To see my own specific doctor can be even harder as she's popular and it can take a week to see her - again not great when you're unwell today. The silly thing is the reception staff ask on the Phone if it's "urgent" - I find this hard to respond to - I'm sick enough I want to see a doctor as soon as possible, but not sick enough I called an ambulance - how urgent is that?!!

Approximate cost: $45

I started going to Wicklow Avenue Medical Centre about a year ago as well and i have a heart condition and i find that they always go out of their way to fit me in wherever they can! I have always found them to be extremely professional and helpful.
