Had a problem with my Subaru - went to a dealership and was quoted over $1,000+ any problems they found. A friend suggested Williams and Wood in Artarmon. Went in and described what the dealership had told me and what they said they would charge. (As I said the charge I realized that was most likely a mistake.). I was told that this would cost between $200 and $300 dependent on what he would find and he would call me with any issues that would cost me more.

Final cost was $220 and car was perfect. I have now been using Williams and Wood in Artarmon for a number of years. Its great when you find one of the rare things out there - An honest mechanic who charges a fair price and does great work.

These guys have looked after me and my cars for years. Bob's a mad keen auto racer, too, and really helpful with any questions I had. Not too expensive for servicing etc.
