Wilson Botanical park is one of the most beautiful and tranquil parks I have ever had the privilege of visiting .We visited the gardens today with my 3 clients who all have special needs.and mobility issues. The park was so accessible and catered beautifully for them due to the sealed pathways and ramps. The flora and fauna is spectacular and my clients loved seeing the animals that were on show. Birds, reptiles etc. The facilities are great . And I highly recommend visiting these gardens you will love ️ it . Well done Casey council you nailed it

I love Wilson Botanic Park as well. So beautiful and "textured" with all the different trees, plants and also the different land levels and slopes. I visit it often and I feel lucky to live so close.

I went there with my Dad last November. He was staying with me as his health had declined. He wasn't having a good time of it but on the day agreed for me to help him to his mobile scooter and we went to Wilson Park - we spent a glorious 1.5 hours making our way, Dad on the scooter and me walking beside him with my dog on lead, around the Park - stopping frequently to look at this bird or that duck or pointing out interesting land characteristics along the way. Dad loved nature - and I got that trait from him.

When we got back home Dad said "I feel 300% invigorated".

Nine days later my Dad passed away. I look back at photos and the precious memories in my mind and the memory of spending that time with Dad at Wilson Botanic Park is a very special one. I'm so glad we went there and that the Park was able to provide the diversity, interest and wonder that it does.

Spent the majority of my childhood in this park. It was sad to see the lakes slowly dry up during the drought, but they have gotten better in recent times. There's two large lakes you can walk around as well as a look out tower on the hill and play ground for the kids with a bbq area. Parking can be limited in busier times.

We were looking for a quiet place outdoors to have our civil ceremony, but nothing too public like a local park, when we found Wilson Botanical Gardens in Berwick. They have staff there who can help you through the entire booking process, you get a couple of choices of different locations in the park that you can get married, if you want chairs or not, near the rotundra, lakeside, ampitheatre etc, and the backdrop makes for wonderful photos. Everyone we spoke to at WBG was really helpful and came up with great suggestions to help us plan our day. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an out of the way place to have your ceremony.

Approximate cost: $From $160
