Great wine. Great staff. Great place. It's a nice place to relax and have a drink and wine with friends. It tends to get crowded but there's a small dining area too but i'd prefer this to just having a few drinks at night

I love the food, the wine and the atmosphere of wine bank on view. It has an amazing wine list and is a great place to sit outside and watch view street life unfold. Great for a girls night out or a romantic dinner.

This was our second visit. The wine selection was great, a huge variety of wines and ciders to choose from. We had a lovely white and a bottle of Harcourt apple cider. Prices were reasonable. Inside the restaurant was a bit cramped as the bar and wine collection took up some space, and seating is limited (having said that though they do have private function rooms you can book for special occasions). Bathrooms were located at the very back of the restaurant, a fair way away. A bit inconvenient for the elderly or less mobile customers. Service was average probably because we were only there for drinks, and didn't order a meal. There was only one waiter around - he was efficient enough with our orders, but not really what you would call warm. Might go again in the future, to try their food.

I was happy to find Wine Bank. With two small kids in tow, the small room just inside the door was perfect for our needs- space for the bub to crawl around, and we were contained from other diners.
We ordered the tasting plate; chicken and barley soup; tuscan bread salad; vanilla and pistachio cheescake; and lemon tart.
The food was amazing, I couldn't fault it (except for maybe some more bread being needed for the tasting plate).
We had one super friendly waitress, blonde with her hair in a bun. She provided us with excellent service.
The other waitress, blonde with hair down, was very surly. She did not smile once and her manner was bordering on rude. It felt like she was doing us a favour by serving us.

I will certainly return next time I'm in town..though will walk back out if I see the surly blonde waitress again!

Having lived in Bendigo for so long I cannot believe that I have only just gotten around to dining here, especially after hearing so many great reviews.

The Wine Bank is set in the old bank building and from the outside looked like your average restaurant/bar, however when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised with the modern decor, wine bottle racks lining the walls, and a lovely warm fireplace.

We ordered a tasting plate to share as our entree and the barramundi and chicken risotto for our mains, and a vanilla bean cheesecake for dessert.

I couldn't find fault with the food quality although it did take a while for our meals to be brought out. The wine list is extensive and the staff were very friendly but I would have preferred it if they had a little bit more knowledge about the wines as our waitress didn't really offer recommendations when asked.
