I had a private knitting lesson with Kate to teach me how to sew sleeves into my jumper. Kate was extremely patient, and was able to explain steps clearly and in a way I can remember.
She has many good tips which you won't find in pattern books.
I also enjoyed looking at a wonderful array of wool and patterns.
I can't wait to start another project and will book in more lessons as I try different techniques.
I highly recommend a visit to the Wool Baa.

Really good service and I would think the largest selection of patterns of all the stores I have visited around Australia - certainly largest in Melbourne. Just love the place.
PS. Agree with the last review - prices very competitive. Probably the cheapest in Melbourne if you join their loyalty program (generous 10% discount if spend a certain amount in 12 months).

Great service, very friendly. Very large stock out the back. Prices very competitive when compared with other Melbourne stores for same brands. Love the tables and chairs and lots & lots of patterns. Wow.

Not the cheapest wool shop but certainly the best variety and quality. The staff always very helpful with ideas and even learning new techniques. Even great to purchase over the net.

Excellent service, Leonie and staff always ready to advise on patterns and teach methods. Also try their classes! Having chairs and tables is also a very good idea for trying out new knitting skills
