I have been having my haircut with Mateo for a number of years now.. he was always very good, skilled and knew perfectly how I wanted my hair cut. Unfortunately when I arrived for my last appointment (which I had arranged two months previously) I was told that Mateo had left and that the apprentice could cut my hair. I had only seen Mateo the previous week and neither he nor anyone else mentioned that he was leaving. I understand his leaving may have been unforeseen, but if the staff or Mateo himself could have explained it to me directly and told me that they could still help me instead of allowing me to turn up and then fobbing me off to the apprentice, I would have been happier. As it is I have an important event coming up next week and noone I trust to cut my hair. So disappointed! I wont be going back there to get my hair cut. It appears to me that they don't care whether they loose valued and loyal customers so I should go somewhere for a haircut that needs and values my custom!

Approximate cost: $120

Sue always does a perfect spray on tan which last about seven days. The color is really natural and can do it quite light as well which I like as looks ok in winter also. I have had many tans elsewhere and they are either very orange or streaky. Only ask for Sue, cant vouch for anyone else there.. she always fits me in as well which is great.

Approximate cost: $35/session or less if you get five

Excellent service, Leonie and staff always ready to advise on patterns and teach methods. Also try their classes! Having chairs and tables is also a very good idea for trying out new knitting skills
