Woolworths

After moving house a few months ago we picked Belconnen Woolworths as our regular supermarket for weekly shopping and having been going there ever since. A few days ago we had such a horrific experience that we will never be back. We scanned our groceries at the self-scan checkout only to have the register freeze just before we paid. We were asked (not so politely) to rescan everything at another register only to have this register freeze also. Apparently the problem was a voucher we were using SENT TO US BY WOOLWORTHS! We were then lectured by the service representative (later discovered to be the customer service manager) and asked to have our groceries scanned a third time after a lengthy wait to see if either register would re-load. The store was busy and we were utterly humiliated by being made to look the cause of the problem and being lectured about something that was far from our problem. In the end after more than 30 minutes of just trying to pay for our groceries we left empty handed and visited another supermarket to start the process over.

The customer service manager was not at all apologetic and did not handle the situation in an appropriate manner!

Woolworths Belconnen is quite a well-designed store with friendly staff and a good variety of stock. The ANZ atm is also very handy!

quick and easy to find everything all in the one shop without much trouble and the staff were willing to assist when they were asked

Happy; go out of my way then going to the locals as it is a value for money and quality; Always use self serve

The store had a wide variety of products which were at good prices. The specials were relevant to what we wanted to buy. The express lane was very helpful in leaving the store quickly.

Woolworths at Belconnen Mall has a great range of everything with very low prices, espeically compared to some other supermarkets. Definately a must for your weekly shopping. Customer service is much faster than at Coles, especially more so because of their self-checkout system.
