We got our first customer review about a year ago and I realised immediately that this concept could be something really good for us. I'm not particularly technical myself, but these days everything's done online. So having a great online reputation is really important.
We joined WOMO's Happy Customers Program, used the tools provided, and we've now got 17 fantastic reviews - which is great. We get plenty of people mentioning that they've seen our reviews and it's definitely brought in a lot more business.
I almost feel guilty given the current economic climate, but our turnover is up 35-40% on last year and I'd say most of that is due to the word-of-mouth feedback online. I started only 2.5 years ago and have built the business up from scratch - with public reviews online, we've been able to build a great reputation really quickly.
We haven't needed to do any other marketing as word-of-mouth is the most powerful form of advertising. In the last 30 days alone, our WOMO page has been viewed by over 300 visitors, with many of them clicking through to email or call the store.

Applicable for both businesses and customers alike, everyone wins. There are many review sites on the net but few who serve to rewards those that that put in the input.
Our travel agency started to use WOMO a few months ago and the first booking we made from a referral from Womo paid for the entire years fee! Since then we have had many clients book through us that have come through Womo which is now free advertising for us. It is a great marketing tool that can really highlight your businesses strengths. As we focus primarily on customer service and specialise in clients looking for a high quality product which can be easily conveyed on Womo. What our customers say about us holds a lot more credibility than anything we can say about ourselves! We encourage our clients to review us to get as many reviews as possible and it also provides us with valuable feedback to make sure we are doing everything we can to exceed our customers' expectations.

We joined the Happy Customer program and this has helped our business enormously. The window stickers draw customers attention to our business and we use the "Review Us"and "See what customers are saying about us" leaflets to promote our business and grow our reviews. In just a few months of using them our reviews have grown from 70 and sales are 30%+ up on last year.
Cannot speak highly enough of the effectiveness of the free promotional material available. We use in excess of 300 per month and WOMO never fail to supply what request.

We've doubled our revenue and we definitely attribute much of this growth to our word-of-mouth reviews. It's making our sales and marketing process so much simpler. I don't have to fight for the work - we let our reputation speak for us and focus on servicing the stream of enquiries that contact us after seeing our reviews. Basing our marketing on customer feedback has been one of the best business decisions we've made! By getting more reviews, we expect our sales to double again next year!

The majority of our new clients now come from WOMO - way more than Yellow Pages. Plus, they're coming from all over Melbourne, not just our local area. I particularly like it how they come with a level of trust and positive expectations - it sets our relationship off to a great start and makes it easy to keep the good vibes going! Almost all of the customers we get from WOMO will re-book straight away and most go on to become regulars so it's having a big impact on our business.There are heaps of women (and men) searching the internet and finding us on WOMO every week! Lots of our clients tell us they use WOMO for everything now. We love it when we get a new review - I'll print it out and stick it up in our back room. We're particularly chuffed if someone mentions one of us by name!
