Great local butcher, and provides great recommendations and always very helpful. Whenever I visit, they also give my child a Frankfurt which brightens up his day, so great customer service. Meat quality is great, and very good value

I have never had a bad choice of meat from my local butcher, Old Style. The steak particularly is fantastic. We're very lucky to have such a great local butcher with all the choice that they offer. Great friendly service too!

This is my favourite butcher to go to and I never go anywhere else. All of my meat that I can get from here I do. They are very friendly and great with kids as they always offer a free cocktail Frankfurt for my son. I'm so glad this is my local butcher.

My kids absolutely love the chicken sausages here and they are perfect for family barbecues.

The sausages here are to die for and perfect whenever we have a BBQ with our friends and family!

in prep for a NYE do at my place, I took I drive down to the guys at YVOSB with my rotisserie rod in hand, looking for a Lamb/Chicken combo. gave them the measurements for the biggest possible load of meat that could fit in my beer keg spit. "No issue at all, we'll have it ready to pick up this afternoon" they tell me. expecting a half/half lamb one side chicken the other, I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up a marinated mixed combo. looked fantastic! and after the first 10 mins on the cook, it smelt unbelievable! surprised the neighbours didn't come knocking. calved it up after or 3 so hours of cooking, loaded up the serving tray and everyone dived on it like seagulls. not a scrap of meat was left. everyone made comment, that was the best spit roast they have ever had. I was pretty proud, and so should the guys be from YVOSB.

This butcher is great. There products are always fresh and delicious. We particularly love their variety of sausages. The service is always great too - old school service where they are happy to give you advice on the perfect cut for your dish or cut something particular that you need or even just go out the back to grab a bone for my dog :) why would you ever get you meat from a supermarket?

We don't go anywhere else for our meat.

My Christmas was made so easy the turkey & delicious free range ham great as usual and they make the best stuffing for the turkey.

I regularly buy big rib eye steaks and chicken schnitzels. Their free range chicken schnitzels are very good, steaks are always amazing. Also check out their free range pork and cheese snags. They are simply awesome

Best sausages in the West! Preparing for a 21st, we bought five varieties from here and four from an equally reputable butcher nearby, and put them all to the family taste test. All five of these guys' sausages were way better, or as good, as the other four - in flavour, leanness, and enjoyment. For the record, their chicken, free range pork and hot & spicy were our top 3 - by a big margin.

We are very lucky to have a classic 'old school' butcher nearby.; I regularly ask for advice on preparing meat, dinner ideas and cooking tips. The staff are always friendly and help out with those last minute meal dilemmas. I wouldn't go anywhere else for excellent meat, especially when it is right on your doorstep in Yarraville.

Firstly, all of the meat is of the highest quality. I've been shopping there for 7 years now and the standards of this business have gone from strength to strength. New free-range options for pork and chicken have added to consumer choice, particularly those of us who are concerned over ethical issues regarding our shopping. Paul and his team are always helpful and friendly, making it a real pleasure to shop there.
