This is our go-to restaurant for Birthdays as we absolutely LOVE the caspian chicken. I like to think of myself as a bit of a cook but bite me, I cannot nail this most delicious dish. We are going again this Friday. Can't wait! Oh, and of course the biggest pull factor is that they are BYO - bring it!

This place is rated highly and first appearances were very good. We experienced some wonderful service and great atmosphere (the latter should be a give for the Valley on a Saturday night). The menu is extensive enough - some really unique looking items to choose from - we went for the a starter that was beautiful - fetta filled pastry with herbs - I could have eaten 10 of those they were so good. Then for the mains we had lamb backstrap and the kebabs. The backstrap was $35 - the most expensive item on the menu, but worth it. Really well spiced and some inventive sides to go with it. The kebabs were a little disappointing - for $29, you get two kebabs and a bowl of saffron rice with some condiments - for the signature dish, it wasn't the greatest meal I've had. We didn't go for desserts... but this list appeared okay. We'll go again, but after we've tried out some of Zafron's competitors.

Approximate cost: $29
