If you like boring, bland tasteless coffee this is the place to go. Crap service and attitude and the food options are very limited. Very very disappointing for a hospital

After a severe knee injury a few years ago, I was referred to Monash Medical Centre in Clayton for physiotherapy sessions and outpatient medical appointments. At first I was frustrated by hospital trips, but I quickly discovered the Zouki Cafe on site at the hospital, and my frustration turned to looking forward to lunch or dinner after appointments.

My personal favourite from Zouki is their sushi. It is always fresh and has the perfect flavour to it. As well as being a huge fan of the sushi, they have a huge range of cakes and slices which are to die for, and a large range of drinks including regular and diet fizzy drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, juices, and some of the best coffees and hot chocolates ever.

While going to the hospital can be frightening, upsetting, stressful, or boring, the Zouki cafe gives visitors, staff, and outpatients a great environment to relax and unwind in. My only complaint would be that some prices are a little hefty, presumably due to the company's monopoly position.

Recently, we went to the hospital to visit someone who was an in-patient and called into the cafe for a much needed coffee fix.

I was very pleased that my skinny latte was made perfectly, milk was warm enough and the coffee was the right strength.

The cafe had on offer a delicious range of mouth watering cakes and muffins. Whilst they looked enticing I did not feel like something sweet at the time.

Service was efficient, we only waited a few minutes for the coffees to be made.

Visiting hospitals are not much fun, but its good when a good cafe onsite is available for visitors and patients to buy something to eat or drink.

We mainly go for the coffees, but the service and variety of cakes is also very good.
Parking could be an issue, but I tend to think most of their customers are workers from the Universities, Hospital or Dental clinic which are all close by. Would definitely recommend the coffee.
