We went here for lunch at the weekend and this restaurant gets the award for the worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune to eat at. We had a living social voucher so luckily did not pay too much, but I would not eat there again even if the food was free. As part of our 'deal' we were to have a shared entree and a mixed platter to share. The entree was some broken up chip type things with a dip. It actually looked like they had been taken off another table's leftovers, refried and served up. It was so greasy. The dip was ok though. I could only stomach one of the chips and hoped for better from the mains... unfortunately things did not get any better! The main was served up with no indication of what anything was on the platter. We were the only two diners in the restaurant and at this point the waitress and the 'chef' both walked out of the restaurant leaving us as the only people there to fend for ourselves. The platter was a mass of greasy deep fried food bearing little resemblance to anything edible. Not sure why they served spring rolls and hot chips in a Lebanese restaurant but they saw fit to do so! Along with that were chicken skewers, lamb skewers, some type of mince ball of unknown meat and a salad dripping with oil. I may have left something out but if I did it was deep fried, greasy and unrecognisable like the rest. Not once did the waitress come back and ask us if we needed anything or if we liked the food. It was so greasy i could taste nothing except oil and had a queasy stomach for the rest of the day from all the grease and oil, despite only eating a small amount. While we were waiting for a staff member to return, we had a look around, saw a large piece of chicken on the floor under our table (not from us) and the floor didn't look like it had been cleaned in quite some time. Finally the staff came back into the restaurant, accompanied by another staff member on her return from Coles with the contents of the dinner menu by the looks of her bags – frozen chips etc all to be served to the next lucky diners! Still nobody came near our table. As coffees were part of our package, we wanted to try these (don't know why after everything else we had been served up!) but with no one to serve us we went to the counter and waited for someone to notice. We got the coffees, a mocha and a cappuccino. The cappicino would have been passable and actually looked quite pretty when served, but was spoiled by the syrup on top which ruined the flavor. It would have been better served in a bowl of ice-cream. The mocha was undrinkable as it had so much of the syrup in it, there was no other flavor but the sickly sweet syrupy taste. No one was in the restaurant when we left to greet us farwell or to receive any feedback. We certainly did not leave a tip!
