This is a great cafe with friendly staff and amazing coffee. The sandwiches are really good too as are the bacon and egg rolls. Never disappoints. Handy for parking too with a carpark accross the road and on street parking. The decor is great and I love the concrete counter top. Now if only they opened on Sundays too!

I have been here a couple of times and although disappointed the first time, the second trip made up for it. Firstly they have done a great job on the fit out and decoration. It looks much more upmarket than the typical thai restaurant and has both indoor and outdoor tables. The staff were friendly and helpful. On my first visit, I ordered the duck pancakes and a chicken stirfry. The duck pancakes were amazing and I would certainly recommend. The stirfry on the other hand was not good. The chicken was grisly and unedible for me. The flavours of the stirfry were great but I only ate the vegetables. On my second visit we had a few dishes to share in the group. Everything we had that time tasted great (I did not have any chicken this time!) No BYO which most thai restaurants have but it is licenced.

Going into Max Brenner, I was hoping to get an exceptionally good hot chocolate, being that they have a reputation for good chocolate and their prices are so high. I was very dissapointed with the resulting drink. It was an overly sweet, not quite hot enough hot chocolate that cost aroung $7. I won't be back!

Wollongong needed a good burger place and Grill'd is perfect. I have been there 3 times since it opened and keep ordering the same burger - crispy bacon and cheese beef burger - because its so good. The gluten free bun is great too, although if you're looking for a bready bun its probably not the one for you as its thin and dense. Love the sweet potato fries and dips to chose from. The 'famous' grill'd chips are fairly standard. Haven't yet tried the zucchini fries but it is next on my list. I really like that Grill'd uses grass fed beef and free range chicken. They also support local charities and customers can chose which one to donate to from the 3 selected by Grill'd.

Approximate cost: $20

This is a great little pizza place for casual rustic dining. The pizza was great - full of flavour and plenty of topping. The garlic bread was average. No problems making a booking that day even with a groupon voucher. Service was good and staff were friendly. The menu looked good and we will probably go back to try out the pasta dishes next time.

The service here was bad. We ordered soft drink which when we got them were flat. When we told the waitress she changed one of them for a new drink but left the other 2. The new drink was also flat. The food was great thou. I had the Pad Ped which was so tasty and had just enough spice. The massaman curry was also good. Great satay. The only dish we didn't like was one of the entrees - it was a weird combination of coconut and nuts and far too sweet for entree. Unfortunately the waitress also spilled sauce from one of the mains on the table. Bad service, good food.

The restaurant looks a little dated buy we decided to give it a try anyway. Service was good and the waiter (owner?) was chatty and helpful. The food was good - just spicy enough without being overpowering. I would go back.

This review is for Tony's Chicken Shop, West Wollongong NSW

Used Tony's when catering for a party. Everyone at the party said how good the food was and the chicken schnitzels (80 of them) disappeared in about 10 mins! The spring rolls were also a big hit as was the potato bake. Salads were ok but nobody bothered to eat them. Great fried rice too. They were a but late delivering the food and everyone was starving by the time it arrived, but all was forgiven once they started eating.

This place doesn't look very good from the outside but looks can be deceptive when it comes to the quality of the food here. The schnitzels are so good and huge portions. Pizzas are also good and have loads of topping on it - so much so that we couldn't finish a pizza between the two of us!

Great service here - the waiter could not do enough to help. It was a Tuesday night though and only one other table of diners! The burger was great as was the steak and soft shell crap. Was too full to try the deserts!
