Love the range of burgers here not just the lot but ranges such as King's with double bacon, egg, pineapple, salad and peanut butter ($7.95). Big Al's Royale with dble meat, triple bacon & cheese + salad ($7.95) and many more. Great taste plus all the usual fish & chip options.
Approximate cost: $7
My favourite are the burger slammers but my wife prefers the chicken souvlaki. Great range, large choice of options and clean, friendly service. Food is fresh and tasty with the large option big enough to satisfy even the hungriest.
Wow is all I say. This is our families favourite Indian restaurant and has never disappointed. The food always delicious, the meat tasty never chewy, reasonable price and always friendly service. never a let down, highly recommended.
New location but all as expected for LOTF. Still great range of sauces and spicy burger still the way to go. Just wish the chips were crunchy not soggy/greasy and too salty (I ask no salt). Suitable for all but it's the sauce that makes the chips. The chips on their own are not that great but the burgers are fine and even me who is not vegetarian finds them tasty.
Love the range of sauces to go with the fries (Parisian garlic mayo) my favourite. Have only tried the spicy burger and I must say if you didn't know it wasn't meat it could fool you. Delicious and I recommend it. (Even for meat eaters like me!)
First time kebabs from here last week and service was great and very friendly. Kebabs were good, reasonable prices ($9) but service and friendly staff put this place above par. Also wider range on menu than expected not just kebabs (doner or adana) but meals, sweets, Turkish pizza, dips & salads as well as party platters and breakfast menu.
My wife and I love this place. Have been here many times for both take-away and eat in. We have never had a bad meal or poor service. Highly recommended for Thai food lovers or if you want to try for the 1st time as there is spicy and mild dishes to suite most.
Stayed here with my wife in a suite and let me say the service, food, room and hotel in general is one of the best in Melbourne (better than many in the same price range). For example room service was brilliant. Wanted some strawberries and was advised they did not have many fresh but will see what they can do. When it came it was a large bowl full with delicious strawberries, many more than was needed or expected. Also a salad was not delivered with the rest of dinner but was delivered a few minutes later as the service guy forgot it. For this inconvenience (none really) they gave the salad gratis. If you do get a chance stay in a suite with the great spa as this was great fun and roomy!
Stayed here for one night with my wife. Over the phone booked a room where they stated corner spa, on arrival a few days later was given the key to the room then left to find our own way up down the back lift. Found room had normal bath sized spa (not fit for 2)! Barely an apology and when I complained further was given a bottle of wine to compensate. Place looks great but service was not up to standard as for the same price we could have had a room with corner spa in various other city hotels.
Have never actually booked with HotelClub as I do use them to search as one of my baselines but then search further and have always found a deal that beats what they offer. OK, but there are others that offer more suited accommodation (at least others offer places that are a better deal/fit for what I have needed at the times I have needed a place to stay).
